Matt is a recognized expert in the design and construction of Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) walls and Soil/Rock Nail systems. His deep knowledge of both metallic and geosynthetic soil reinforcement systems allows him to tailor solutions to complex site conditions. He is highly experienced in evaluating and designing for a variety of backfill materials, including cement-stabilized fill, lightweight cement-foamed fill, and crushed rock fill.
His technical capabilities include leading field exploration programs, performing laboratory and in-situ testing, conducting retaining wall analysis and detailing, and executing forensic evaluations.
